Laurel Ridge Grass Fed beef is pleased to announce a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program for our Grass Fed beef.  Memberships in our beef CSA are based on pounds per month, and shares will be sold in 6 month increments.  Meat will be available soon after it has been processed, and the meat will all be frozen and cryovac wrapped.  As with the meat we sell by the individual cut, all slaughter and processing will be done under USDA supervision.

The meat will consist of a variety of different cuts depending on the season.  Approximately 30% by value will be steaks, 30% will be slow cooking cuts (roasts, stew, short ribs, brisket, etc.), and the balance will be ground beef.

We will choose the beef for you for each month.  We will record what cuts you were given the previous months and use those records when we choose that month’s selection so that you get a variety of cuts during the term of your CSA.  If you desire specific cuts, we will attempt to deliver those cuts subject to availability and the 30/30/40 ratio.

Initial pickup will be at our farm on the first Sunday of the month.  If we find a sufficient number of customers in a particular town or area, we will consider making monthly deliveries to a common location in the area.

The commitment will be for 6 monthly deliveries at the level chosen.  Payment will be due at the time of delivery, payable by check or in cash.

If for any reason you are unable to fulfill your commitment, you agree to pay us the difference between our full retail price and the discount level you originally choose for the meat that has already been delivered.
